The legal definition of the American single malt whiskey category recently came one step closer to being federally recognized, and the majority of this blend (produced at the home of Jim Beam, James B. Beam Distilling Co.) is actually, weirdly, malt whiskey.

Little Book Chapter 6 “To The Finish” is composed of five liquid streams using different wood staves and barrel techniques that impart a unique profile due to the secondary aging. These liquid streams complement each other, resulting in an extremely approachable finished product, even for those who have yet to try a cask strength whiskey.
